Yolanda vom HagenYolanda vom Hagen first came into close contact with China in 2005 during her photo design studies at the University of Applied Science Dortmund when she participated in a German-Chinese photo workshop. From 2006 to 2007 she studied one year at the Beijing Film Academy. Her enthusiasm for Chinese culture and the encounter with the people, their personalities and environment led to a number of photographic documentaries.

A job offer as the official press photographer at the German Pavilion during the Expo 2010 gave her finally the opportunity to relocate to Shanghai, which has now become her second home. Constantly exploring the city of Shanghai, she was instantly inspired by the concept of Shanghai Flaneur and joined the managing team in 2011 to 2013. Yolanda is working as freelance photographer in the fields of interior, corporate and documentary photography.
