Sherry Poon

Sherry Poon is a Canadian architect who arrived in Shanghai in 2001 after working on various low-cost housing and sustainable architectural design projects in Canada, Australia and Thailand. Sherry continued working on sustainable housing projects in China until 2008 when she founded Wobabybasics, an organic cotton and ethically produced children’s clothing brand. Sherry also founded the Eco Design Fair in Shanghai as the city’s first initiative to provide the general public with green tools and solutions to live a healthier lifestyle in China. In its 10^th year, the Eco Design Fair continues to be a dynamic educational and retail community event that supports innovative sustainable designers and brands, raises awareness of local environmental issues, and inspires all to make better choices for a more positive, healthy environment.
